Buseater Wave – Ottawa River – Raft Guide Slingshot

The Buseater wave forms at high water on the Beachburg section of the Ottawa River.  Rafts attempting passage are generally dump trucked, flipped or otherwise annihilated.  In this particular clip the raft hits the hole for a perfect 180 into surprisingly stable surf.  the guide holds the surf even after getting bucked over the tube and holding with legs only.  Finally, it’s too much and the raft kicks sideways causing a second buck that slingshots the guide into the hole 20+ from their raft.  Incredible!
